General FAQs
Are you just for kids?
Absolutely not! We have events and productions geared towards community members of all ages. Check out our upcoming events and productions for more info about each event and their targeted audience.
Do I have to pay to be in a show?
We will never ask for you to pay to be in a show in which you've been casted in an open audition. Our theatrical experiences for students do have a tuition fee as they are education based rather than experience based and every member of our student casts are guaranteed a role in the experience which they are participating in.
How do I audition?
Check out our audition tab on the left hand side. We are always looking for new actors to join the Hive Team and have show based open auditions several times throughout the year.
How long have you been around?

Theatrical Experiences
Do you offer sibling or other discounts?
At this moment, we do not offer sibling discounts. We strive to keep our tuition costs low so that it is feasible for our students to participate.
Will my kid definitely be cast in a theatrical experience show?
If you have enrolled your student in a theatrical experience, then yes, you will see their smiling faces onstage. We work with students during the first week of class to teach them proper audition techniques and prepare them for their in-class audition.
Why do I pay for theatrical experiences?
Our theatrical experiences are an educational experience for our students. We work heavily with each one to make sure they are growing in the craft and can put on their best performance come showtime. Theatre classes like these are comparable to classes in dance, visual art, gymnastics, etc.
What are the ages?
Our theatrical experiences are open to school aged children Pre-K through 12th Grade. We ask you use your best judgement to determine whether your child is ready to participate in an extracurricular group class before enrolling them and please contact us if you have any questions.

COVID-19
Are masks required?
While the threat of COVID-19 is still active, we recommend that you wear a mask during performances unless actively eating or drinking.
What is your COVID-19 policy?
We ask that our audience members wear masks during performances, our students have their temperatures taken before entering the rehearsal space, the use of hand sanitizer is available and encouraged, and we ask that if anyone is experiencing symptoms of any illness, that they remain home for the safety of our entire community. We want to continue to have our doors open and can only do so with the help of every patron of the Hive.
